Trust With a Chaser was great but this one was even better. I mean - it had spankings and stuff. What's not to like?
Ok, maybe that fact that once I again we had the 'I'm not good enough for him' and the 'I'm not looking for a relationship' tropes which I am frankly getting quite tired of hearing.
Still, I really enjoyed watching Logan come into himself and become his own person rather than the one his past environment had made him into. Curtis played a major part in Logan finding the strength to change, find his own way and finally stand up to his parents who refused to accept that he was quite capable of making his own decisions.
Curtis himself was in a dark place at the beginning of the book. But Logan's enthusiasm slowly pulls him into the light and into a place of hopes and dreams. And no, it wasn't really as sappy as this sounds. It was very well done despite my initial comments. Looking forward to the next ones in the series.
