I admittedly need a few pages to get used the language in these books. I'm not a native speaker and the Texan cowboy way of speaking is not something I come across too often. But it fits the world of the Roughstock series because, well, cowboys. Everywhere. Which is a good thing. Absolutely. So even though not a whole lot happened in this one I still liked it - a fine little story, y'all.
The fact that we have seen no sign of homophobia despite the series being centered around the man's world of rodeo and bull riding is kind of refreshing.
Each book focuses on one couple but there is still an ongoing story line concerning Jason who lost his eye sight in the first one. That alone ensures that I will continue with this series.
