Waiting for Rain

Waiting for Rain - Susan Mac Nicol, Matthew Lloyd Davies The ingredients of this story were fairly basic: Toby, the guy with a troubled past who had fought through it all and worked hard to the happy life among good friends he now has. And Rain, independent carpenter running his business with his best friend. Despite his fear of sheep (yes, sheep!) he has found a good home for himself in the countryside after a painful breakup.
Rain and Toby fall in lust at first glance and things progress from there.

Add in sheep jokes, pole dancing and helpful Japanese tourists and the whole thing is rather entertaining.

The narration was ok. Although - and maybe that's just down to me not recognizing the details of various accents - Rain's South African accent at times sounded more like Italian mobster to me, but I could live with that.
