Stranger on the Shore

Stranger on the Shore - Josh Lanyon Let's be clear on one thing: There is romance in this book. But it does not take center stage.
This is a crime story. And a very good one. Griffin's search for the truth behind an old kidnapping case was highly entertaining. I never saw it coming.
Disclaimer: At this point I have to admit to being easy; I never know who 'did it' when watching or reading crime stories, so you may not want to take my word for it when I say this story had some very nice and unexpected plot twists. (I can actually watch the same episode of Midsummer Murders several times and still be surprised when the culprit is revealed!)
Great book, but if you are looking for romance you might be slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the boys were definitely very good together - I loved how they couldn't keep away from each other despite some very obvious hostility in the beginning - but the crime story had more page time than the romance.
